Our recent “Farmhouse Chic” home remodeling project was published in the Spring 2018 edition of Montco Magazine! Read the story here.

The project had many dimensions: kitchen, powder room, dining room, living room, and foyer.
The kitchen involved the design of a custom island with black rub-through finish. Notice one of our signature distressed finishes on the built-in hutch and the new farm sink.

Grayson Whitted, Jeff Whitted’s son and one of our primary carpenters, custom designed and fabricated a reclaimed wood tea cabinet.

A highlight of the living room is the fireplace surround and TV cabinet made from 200-year-old hand-scraped pumpkin pine. We worked hand-in-hand with Worldwide Stereo (Ardmore, PA) to incorporate the TV into the mill work.

We also designed, fabricated, and finished the vanity in the powder room.

We added a traditional realist painting, Hubbarton forge sconces, and a fresh coat of paint to update the fireplace in the dining room.

Finally, the foyer was completely transformed—we rebuilt the stairs and installed a new railing; we selected new furniture, wall decorations, and antique lighting; and we installed a brand new stained wood front door, as well.
